Pedigree and history aside, this house for sale is also very convenient as it does not only provide a great view but is also near public transportation facilities. Living here will give you easy access to Mystic River, Tufts, Boston and Middlesex Fells Reservation. This is a blue Victorian house that lies on a steep hill.

The Queen Anne Victorian house, which is located in 31 Hillside Ave in Medford, was built in 1890. For the price tag of $742,000 you get a historical house sitting in 3,312 square feet of space with five bedrooms and three baths.

  1. Robert Roche says:

As the archivist for Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott, the firm founded by H.H. Richardson , I wanted to clarifiy that fact that this home was not designed by H.H. Richardson. Richardson passed away in 1886 and he left hs firm to three able designers, Shepley Rutan and Coolidge who continued his practice. After reviewing our firms records, I found that neither Richardson or his successors designed this home.
Another firm that may have been responsible would be Hartwell and Richardson (1881 - 1918) who designed many projects in the Boston area.
