A mansion owner in North Carolina has advertised with Craig’s List for a permanent swap of their 7,200-sqyare foot, seven-bedroom waterfront house in Charlotte, North Carolina in exchange for a beach home in Orange County with at least four bedrooms and a pool-sized yard.

The house up for swap in Lake Norman boasts of a deepwater dock, a pier and jet ski slip all within a refreshing sandy beach. However, the owner is also willing to sell or lease the house.

This advertisement may just start a home-swapping craze considering how difficult it is to sell real estate these days.
