The price of the Miami mansion owned by basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal has been reduced from the original market price of $35 million to the present selling price of only $25 million. Shaq’s 19.440-square foot Star Island mansion has been off the market for a while but is back after the deal did not go through.

The Phoenix Sun star player purchased the property in 2004 for only $18.8 million.  It was previously owned by soda magnate Juan Carlos Correa who included the home furniture in the sale for an additional $1 million. There were reports that baseball star and Madonna flame Alex Rodriguez had been negotiating for the sale of the property last November but the negotiations apparently failed.

The mansion, which was built in 1992, has an 8-foot arched doorway which is just enough to let the 7 foot 1-Shaq pass through comfortably.  It has nine bathrooms, a gym, a steam room, swim-up bar, an indoor racquetball court, a tennis court and very high ceilings.
