The songstress Christina Aguilera has been having a hard time selling her home in the Hollywood Hills for several years now. Aguilera first put her architecturally superb West Hollywood home in April 2008 after she and her husband bought the Beverly Hills home of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

The four-bedroom home was listed for $7.995 million but then in October 2008 she cut a quick million off the property reducing it to $6.995 million.

A town house known to be New York City’s skinniest has been sold for $2.1 million.

The red, 9 ½ foot-wide, 42 foot-long brick building in Greenwich Village was built in 1873 on land used as an alley between homes. The said town house was first listed last August for $2.7 million. The two-bedroom, two-bath home was sold for $1.6 million last 2000.

A plaque on the narrow Bedford Street home notes poet Edna St. Vincent Millay once lived there; so did anthropologist Margaret Mead.

The newly sold building was listed on real estate Web sites Wednesday as a rental available for $10,000 a month. An e-mail seeking comment from the listed rental…

The steaming couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have expanded the size of their compound in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood. Pitt quietly paid $1,100,000 to buy a missing link for his property in the form of 3,232 square-foot house that his estate largely has surrounded.

Records show that Pitt purchased the property on August 6 from the estate of the late Anne Tyler Sherman. The deal was recorded on August 11.

The TV show creator, writer and executive producer, Joss Whedon, has sold his four-bedroom, 4,064-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area on the arket for $2,470,000.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator’s sale of the house at 1000 Amherst Avenue in Brentwood was listed on the market before for $3,695,000.
